Peptocol ("the App") is developed by Iron Canyon Ventures LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
All health and protocol data you enter into Peptocol is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit your personal health data to external servers unless you choose to export or share it outside the app.
With your permission, Peptocol may read step count, walking distance, active energy, flights climbed, workout data, and body mass from Apple HealthKit. This data is used solely to display fitness metrics within the app and is never shared with third parties or transmitted off your device.
Peptocol may collect limited anonymous analytics through PostHog to understand app reliability, product interactions, and subscription flows. These analytics may include app version, build number, platform, an anonymous app or install identifier, screen or feature interaction events, paywall and product loading events, plan selection, purchase start, purchase success, restore, cancellation, subscription status, and diagnostic or error event categories.
These analytics are used for app functionality and analytics, such as verifying access, finding reliability problems, and improving the product. They are not used for tracking you across other apps or websites, and they are not linked to your name, email address, or account because Peptocol does not require an account system for your tracking data. Peptocol does not send your protocol details, dose history, symptoms, weight entries, notes, provider records, progress photos, or Apple Health data in analytics events.
Peptocol uses PostHog to process the limited analytics described above. We do not sell personal data and do not integrate with advertising networks or data brokers.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Peptocol receives the subscription status and purchase or restore results needed to unlock Pro features and maintain access, while Apple processes payment information under Apple's own policies.
Your data is stored locally in the app's on-device storage. We recommend using a device passcode or biometric lock for additional protection.
You can delete your local app data by removing the app from your device. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
Peptocol is designed for adults and is rated 16+ on the App Store. The app does not require an email signup for your tracking data and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
